In a digital age where post production does not seem to be a problem, the problem, when there is one, concerns the stratification and the aesthetic concepts behind a single product or thought. Luca Loreti with his “Postcapitalism Adventure” combines together some different elements that come to us in a single mirage, creating a multifaceted and confusing vision of the digital reality that surrounds us. Lick and Rock are two big robots: born from a Japanese imaginary they become strong supporters of an underground aesthetic. Behind them, a well known Hokusai painting is corrupted by the dominant aesthetic imposed by Pantone. An overview that refers to the Vaporwave internet screens, deliberately layered and aggressive that, in an accelerationist way, seem to critically reflect on our system.
